Attention Corvette Enthusiasts: Are you ready for another caravan? If you missed the 50th anniversary caravan in 2003, be sure to join us for the 15th anniversary caravan of the National Corvette Museum (NCM). The festivities will start on Monday, August 31st, in Charlotte NC, with the celebration beginning at the NCM on Thursday, September 3, and ending on Sunday September 6.

My name is Frank Sancineto. My wife Laura and I were captains for the North and South Carolina 50th anniversary caravan. We had such a great time and met so many wonderful people we now call friends that we are going to be captains again for this trip.

Our Road trip begins at the host Hotel in Concord NC: The Hampton Inn, I-85 at exit 49, 9850 Weddington Rd., Concord, NC 28027. Call The Hampton Inn at 704-979-5600 to make your reservations, let them know you're with the 2009 Caravan.

Our overflow hotel is the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott, 7811 Gateway Lane N.W., Concord, NC 28027, 704-979-2500 x7604.

Michelin is a proud sponsor of our caravan. Representatives from Michelin will be on hand at the Hampton Inn on Monday & Tuesday to install and balance tires for anyone who pre-orders. They are offering a special discounted caravan price. You have the option of ordering tires to be installed one of these days - or you can have the drop shipped to your home address. Follow the link below for all details and to pre-order.

The Speedway Club restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:30am to 2pm...it is an ala carte menu...they no longer have a buffet. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 6pm to 9pm...it too is an ala carte menu. Folks can make reservations by calling 704-455-3216.

Be sure your Corvette paint is protected before going on the caravan. Have a 3M Clear Bra professionally installed by Auto Shield Carolinas and avoid all the road rash. Call them at 704-321-0505 for an appointment and be sure to ask for the "Caravan discount". They are also experts at window tinting and are authorized Zaino and Race Ramp dealers. Ask for the 20% "Caravan discount" on the Race Ramps. Go to www.autoshieldcarolinas.com and take a look at all their products and services.

  • Each participant will receive an official NC/SC/VA t-shirt upon registration. We will use the sizes you provided when you registered for the caravan with the museum. If you did not order a shirt, please send us your t-shirt size via email by July 1. F6978@aol.com

Following the track event, dinner/social/music will be back at The Hampton Inn where burgers, chicken, hot dogs and all the fixins will be served, provided by Backyard Burger.
